Public Relations Officer
Part-time, Internship
As the Public Relations Officer, you will be the representative of LIS meeting and greeting attendees and maintaining their satisfaction throughout the event. You should be friendly and approachable for attendees to address any issues they have, and you must be a good team member to ensure that the event flows smoothly. You will directly report to
Responsibilities
- Work with the director of LIS to arrange seminars.
- Liaise with speakers to find out their exact event requirements, topics to be discussed and dates they are available.
- Negotiate date and venue with Level 39.
- Giving names of attendees to the front desk.
- Ensuring that all technical appliances are working on the day of the event, ie. Cameras, computer, projector.
Admin tasks
- Setting up tickets on Eventbrite.
- Uploading pictures and transcripts of events on the website.
- Creating new pages of events on the website and adding links to purchase tickets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Detecting inconsistencies and working to avoid them.
- Attention to detail.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiation skills – to arrange dates/venues of the event.
- Approachable.
- Time management skills.
- Good written and oral communication.
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm.

Photographer/Videographer
Part-time, Internship
As the Photographer/Videographer, your job entails audio visual documentation of LIS events which includes taking pictures, recording videos and editing content to be published on our website and social media accounts. You will directly report to

Part-time, Internship
As an Event Management Coordinator, your role is crucial for the smooth flowing of events and satisfaction of attendees. You will need to possess very good organisational skills in order to plan, run and carry out post-evaluations of events as well as being a good team member. You will be in coordination with Photographer/Videographer, Public Relations Officer and Social Media Manager.

Any potential candidate will be required to attend an induction prior to the start of the internship.
